I have 5 library cards.

I've been told that I have a catchy turn of phrase (probably by people who've listened to the Evita soundtrack too often).

Hey, Beth! Is it OK if I friend you?
Oh, yes, please do. I may not friend you back, particularly immediately, but, yes, please, do go ahead!

I post rarely, though I plan to get back to updating my books read each year, after a 22-month hiatus.

I'd like very much if you introduce yourself and tell how you found my LJ,
especially if we don't know each other in Real Life ®

Frankly, I have no idea why anyone friends me.
If you can get through this post, if you enjoy it, you should probably friend me.

I dabble in things, but I'm not fanatical about anything, at least not for very long. Except the Dickens Christmas Fair and PEERS.

I absorb pop culture as a sponge absorbs bacteria.

I'm good at remembering names

I know very little about a lot, and quite a lot about very little. But I get why others like things, in a way that confuses those who like to mock.

This is the template to find post you (or another)'ve made on a comm:

This is the freaking page to edit the profile, which isn't as easy to find as it once was:
